Short version: THYRN software stores your business data locally on your device. We don't sell your data. We use minimal information to deliver your licence and provide support.

1. Who We Are

THYRN is a software brand operated by Ayur Lanka Life Style Products Pvt Ltd, based in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. We build business software for MSMEs worldwide.

2. Data We Collect

When you purchase: Your name, email address, and payment information — processed by Lemon Squeezy (our payment processor). We receive your name and email to deliver your licence key. We do not receive or store your card details.

When you use our software: Your business data (products, sales, expenses, contacts) is stored locally on your device. For plans with cloud sync, your data is stored in Firebase Firestore under your company ID — encrypted in transit and at rest.

When you contact us: Your name, email, and the content of your message.

Free software registration: Company name, contact name, phone, and country — used to track the reach of our free initiative. This data is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to THYRN.

3. How We Use Your Data

To deliver your licence key and setup instructions

To send important product updates (not marketing)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third Parties We Use

Lemon Squeezy — payment processing. Their privacy policy
Firebase / Google — cloud sync, authentication. Their privacy policy
Google Analytics 4 — website traffic (anonymised). You can opt out via browser settings.
Microsoft Clarity — website heatmaps (anonymised). You can opt out at privacy.microsoft.com
Google Apps Script — licence verification backend. No personal data stored beyond what you provide during activation.

5. Data Retention

Licence information is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months for legal and support purposes. Contact information from support enquiries is retained for 24 months. You can request deletion at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@thyrn.app. We will respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies: one for Google Analytics (anonymised traffic measurement) and one for Microsoft Clarity (anonymised heatmaps). Our PWA applications do not use third-party cookies.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures: HTTPS on all connections, HMAC-signed licence tokens, Firebase security rules, and bcrypt-equivalent password hashing with per-company salts. No plaintext passwords or secrets are ever stored.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our products evolve. We will notify active licence holders of significant changes by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision.
